2017 Partnering For Cures: San Francisco

14 November 2017

Since 2009, Partnering for Cures has been bringing together leaders with the experience, creativity, and motivation needed to transform the biomedical research system. Hosted by FasterCures, a center of the Milken Institute, Partnering for Cures connects decision-makers from across diseases who are motivated by the same mission: to reduce the time and cost of getting new therapies from discovery to patients. For 2017, FasterCures is taking Partnering for Cures on the road and convening smaller, cross-sector groups of R&D leaders in a hotbed of biomedical innovation – San Francisco on Nov. 14.

Partnering for Cures meeting will bring together innovators from across medical research: life science investors, philanthropists, and wealth advisors; biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and insurance company executives; patients and medical research foundation innovators; academic medical center leaders and researchers; government decision-makers, federal funders, federal researchers, and regulatory policy-makers. The meeting will feature expert speakers on topics including patient centricity, the future of medical R&D, data science, and much more! Attendees should prepare to find new partnerships, discover patient-centered solutions, tackle R&D challenges, and be inspired by powerful, personal stories.
