A European public-private partnership co-led by the European Patients’ Forum and EFPIA, PARADIGM’s mission is to provide a unique framework that enables structured, effective, meaningful, ethical, innovative, and sustainable patient engagement (PE) and demonstrates the ‘return on engagement’ for all players. It focus on paediatrics and dementia populations and the 3 follow-up decision points: research prioritisation, clinical trial design and early regulatory and HTA dialog.
The first major activity is the Patient Engagement Opening Forum which will take place tomorrow, April 10, in Brussels. Co-organised by PARADIGM, PFMD and EUPATI, representatives from all 34 partners will be present and ready to kick-start the PARADIGM project.
Our participation in PARADIGM can be seen as a natural match for PFMD. As open platform, PFMD is building with best initiatives to deliver a global and sustainable framework for patient engagement and to make it happen. Co-creating with PARADIGM, offering our tools and knowledge today as well as bringing PARADIGM outcomes to life at the end of the project is definitely strategic collaboration to make patient engagement happen.
