SYNaPsE – PFMD’s Global Mapping and Networking Tool aims to SYNergise Patient Engagement. It’s a dynamic user-populated platform that categorizes and ‘maps’ patient engagement initiatives and frameworks, and organisations active in patient engagement.
We’ve made it even better!
We’ve added an Experts Search Engine so you can find and connect with individual Experts from other organizations or even your own. With almost 170 entries already in the Tool it’s becoming a centralised and searchable hub to connect and share good practice.
We’ve also made finding organizations in SYNaPsE easier with the new Organization Repository. You can use our Search filters to narrow down your search and find the type of organisation and/or geographical region you are looking for.

Step 1: Login or register with your LinkedIn account and complete your profile – tell us a little about yourself and your patient engagement initiatives.
Step 2: Explore SYNaPsE – search for experts in organizations that interest you – from patient advocacy organizations to regulatory bodies – and connect with them. Don’t forget – only registered users will have access to contact details.
